While we reserve the right to decline a rental for any reason, the following are the minimum eligibility requirements to register as a renter: You must have held your current driver's license for at least two (2) consecutive years. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent a vehicle. Your driving history may not show a major violation in the last 5 years.

Only drivers listed on reservation may operate vehicle.

The trunk space is very limited. We do recommend you pack light!

The car has Quick-Pass which allows you to drive right through the tolls without having to pay. Tolls will be billed to your account at the end of your trip.

We love them too, but sorry no dogs or pets allowed. The Shelby Cobra is a lovingly restored classic, and we would like to keep it that way for years to come. If there is visible pet damage or fur left behind, repairs and additional cleaning fees may apply. Thank you for understanding!

Absolutely! We can even provide a driver (for an additional fee) if necessary. Visit our wedding service page for more info. Classic cars make great additions to photo shoots as well. Important note: we understand that weddings have tight timelines, but all drivers must perform a driver’s orientation prior to us releasing the vehicle. If you will not be able to do that at the time of delivery, please plan on arranging an alternative time in to do the orientation in advance.

No need to return the car clean. You will only be billed if the car is returned excessively dirty. Please do not run the car through a car wash.

This Cobra is protected by a data recorder & tracking devices that monitor reckless driving, excessive speeding, hard braking, rapid acceleration and other types of abuse. Drive responsibly, obey the law and abide by our policies to ensure a pleasant trip.

No. Your rental includes a full tank of gas. The car will be delivered to you with a full tank of gas. The car takes premium gas, 93 Octane, should you need to refuel during your trip.

Yes, we offer both local and nationwide delivery. Let us know where you would like to have the car delivered to and we'll prepare an estimate for you.

Yes! For a nominal fee, we offer one-way rental options. Please contact us for details.

Unfortunately, bookings need to be picked up and returned on time (if you should need more time please contact us as early as possible to arrange). Late pickups may result in a cancellation or late fee and late returns will be charged according to our policy. That being said, we will of course do our utmost to accommodate any delays or changes to your trip.

Yes. The Cobra has an automatic transmission, making it comfortable to drive and maneuver in city traffic.

The Shelby Cobra is a 2-seater, there are no rear seats. These's only room for the driver and one passenger.

Please call us right away! We do offer roadside assistance and will do our utmost to help. We will either swap out a different car, or arrange a ride for you. Refunds will be made when applicable.

The 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 is a vintage race car, without a top or any door locks. And since it attracts so much attention, street parking overnight it not a good option. Ideally you would make arrangements for the car to be parked in a secure and covered parking overnight.

The 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 is a vintage open air race car and so much fun to drive in good weather conditions. However, since it doesn’t have a top the car isn’t drivable in wet or rainy conditions. The Shelby Cobra does come with a car cover, should you get caught out in a sudden rain shower.

No problem…we love surprises, and we do a lot of them! If you cannot procure their driver’s license and insurance prior to the reservation, please let us know and we'll work with you on this. Let us know how you’d like the surprise to play out…we’ll play along!
